Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Jo deen bari shaan se nikla tha watan se
Perdais main woh aaj ghareeb ul ghuraba he............
Wo deen, hui bazm e jahan jis se charaaghan
Ab us ki mjalis main na bati na diya he........................
Wo deen k tha shirk se aalam ka nighebaan
Ab us ka nighebaan he to Khuda he...........................
Feryaad he, aey kashti e Ummat k nighebaan
Bairaa yeh tbahi k qareeb aan laga he.........................
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Hum naik hain ya bad hain, phir aakhir hain tumharay
Nisbat yeh bari achi he, ager haal bura he..................
Dolat he, na izzat, na fazeelat, na hunner he
Ek cheez he baqi to wo be barg nawa he...................
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Chaai hui alaam pe, qiyamat ki ghata he
Badli hui duniya main zamanay ki hawa he................
Ghardish main muslmaan he, falaq kamp raha he
Ghairon se shikaayat nahi, apni hi khata he...............
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Islam pe teray, dushman e deen toot peray hain
Ghaarat ger e eeman tbaahi pe aray hain..................
Jhanday teray her simat Khudaai k garay hain
Jb chaha he kufaar ka rukh mor diya he....................
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Woh teray muhajir, teray ansaar kahan hain...............
Jo badar o ohad main thay woh sardar kahan hain
Makkay main jo thay sath, woh do char (2-4) kahan hain
Kuch dair ko aaj waqat unhain maang raha he...............
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Kuffaar k narghay main he Islam ka aalam
Jo khaas ka aalam he wohi aam ka aalam................
Jo subah ka aalam he wohi shaam ka aalam
Her saahib e eeman k lab per yeh sada he..............
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he
Umaat pe teri aa k ajab waqat para he......................
Aghyaar ki hain Khaana e ka'ba pe nigahain
Masdood hui jaati hain eeman ki raahain...................
Islaam k seenay se nikalnay lagi aahain
Faaran ki choti pe bara shor macha he.......................
Aey Khasa e khasaan e rasul (SAW), waqt e dua he

THE STOEGER COUGAR 8000F
Details & Specifications
A new affordable semi-auto loading pistol, called the Cougar joins the Stoeger family. This double-action pistol is available in either .40 Smith & Wesson (S&W) or 9mm Parabellum. Stoeger’s Cougar is the same design as the aluminum-frame, Italian-made Cougars that Beretta originally introduced in the mid-1990s. The only difference is that the new Cougars are manufactured in Turkey and offered at very attractive prices. The original Cougar line was developed to provide a more compact alternative to full-size pistols chambered for the 9mm and .40 S&W. The basic Cougar platform was designed for the .40 S&W with the 9mm chambering added later. The Cougar features a barrel that rotates to lock with the slide, providing greater strength and accuracy. The barrels are cold hammer-forged and the bores are hard chrome lined for exceptional strength and durability.Other features include rounded edges for snag-free drawing, removable front sight, matte-black finish, ambidextrous safety, and combat-style trigger guard. Incorporating the finest technology and maintaining proven semi-auto features, the Cougar is a light, compact and reliable pistol. The Cougar comes with two high-capacity magazines—the .40 S&W magazine holds 11 rounds and the 9mm magazine takes 15 rounds. Accuracy, reliability and manageable recoil make the Cougar a perfect choice for home defense, or for fun shooting at targets. Stoeger’s new Cougar embodies the kind of affordable value that you can stake your life on.

ARMY AS AN IMPORTANT PILLAR OF STATE
ARMY AS AN IMPORTANT PILLAR OF STATE
In the name of Allah the all compassionate the most in merciful.
An institution bearing a multidimensional role, no doubt supports the edifice of the state. May it be external aggression or internal crisis, the one which is always there to counter it we name it "The Army". A stronger defence of the country determines solidarity and ensures integrity of the nation .The role of army is of paramount importance in this regard. An impregnable defence can only be guaranteed if there exists an undefeatable army. Characterized by devotion, commitment, competence, sacrifice and selflessness, army is always ready to tackle all sorts of challenges, and above all 'discipline' stands the hallmark of this prestigious institution. Besides safeguarding the frontiers, army plays pivotal role in overcoming internal crisis. Nations have won battles on the basis of better armies. Striking the army of a country is like attacking the backbone of the system paralyzing it to an extent that it is forced to succumb to its injuries. Devoted and professional armies always prove to be a source of inspiration for the entire nation. It is the institution that provides ground for the nourishment and improvement of the rest of the institutions to flourish. The state of preparedness and readiness marks this pillar of the state supreme, distinguishing it from the rest. Keeping the cause of the state supreme, army is always ready to take on its missions in any type of weather, terrain and situation. Internal crisis within a country damages its very fabric, such issues are required to be sorted out at the earliest in order to eradicate the menace of this evil, and here again army comes with sheer excellence with a resolve to succeed. In the wake of natural calamities, in the outbreak of terrorist activities, in the spread of insurgencies, in the aid of civil power, in establishment of security and promotion of peace, again army comes to play. German’s conquered a vast area in the beginning of the Second World War due to its stronger army. The Muslims at the time of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), used to have an organized army. The Prophet (PBUH) himself participated in battles (Ghazvats) as leader of army. Emphasizing its importance Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran," And make ready your strength to the utmost of your power including steeds of war to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah and your enemies and others besides them whom you know not but whom Allah does know and whatever you shall spend in the cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you and you shall not be treated unjustly." Army exercises the art of warfare, importance of warfare can never be denied Sun Tzu said, "The art of war is of vital importance to the state.” These are soldiers ready to sacrifice for the nation who say,” And if don’t come back tell them that we have sacrificed our today for their tomorrow. "Economic stability, defending the frontiers, relief operations and peace enforcement all are what army guarantees.
There is a dire need to devise concrete measures and focus our entire efforts to make this pillar stronger and stronger. Let us strive and make a resolve to make this pillar invincible, let us put our heart and soul to achieve this goal.
I conclude on a thought provoking note, "The safety ,comfort and welfare of our country comes first always and every time, Then comes the safety ,comfort and welfare of our men, Your own safety ,comfort and welfare comes last always and every time."
JIHAD VERSE - THE HOLY QURAN
[2.216] Fighting is enjoined on you, and it is an object of dislike to you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you, and Allah knows, while you do not know. [2.217] They ask you concerning the sacred month about fighting in it. Say: Fighting in it is a grave matter, and hindering (men) from Allah's way and denying Him, and (hindering men from) the Sacred Mosque and turning its people out of it, are still graver with Allah, and persecution is graver than slaughter; and they will not cease fighting with you until they turn you back from your religion, if they can; and whoever of you turns back from his religion, then he dies while an unbeliever—these it is whose works shall go for nothing in this world and the hereafter, and they are the inmates of the fire; therein they shall abide. [2.218] Surely those who believed and those who fled (their home) and strove hard in the way of Allah these hope for the mercy of Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

A LETTER FROM FATHER TO HIS SON
A very enlightening letter written by a father to his son which applies to daughters too. Should be used for teachings to your children.
I am writing this to you because of three reasons
1. Life, fortune and mishaps are unpredictable, nobody knows how long he lives. Some words are better said early.
2. I am your father, and if I don't tell you these, no one else will.
3. What is written is my own personal bitter experiences that perhaps could save you a lot of unnecessary heartaches.
Remember the following as you go through life
1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has the responsibility of treating you well, except your mother and I. To those who are good to you, you have to treasure it and be thankful, and ALSO you have to be cautious, because, everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend.
2. No one is indispensable, nothing in the world that you must possess. Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most.
3. Life is short. When you waste your life today, tomorrow you would find that life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy life.
4. Love is but a transient feeling, and this feeling would fade with time and with one's mood. If your so called loved one leaves you, be patient, time will wash away your aches and sadness. Don't over exaggerate the beauty and sweetness of love, and don't over exaggerate the sadness of falling out of love.
5. A lot of successful people did not receive a good education, that does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gain is your weapon in life. One can go from rags to riches, but one has to start from some rags!
6. I do not expect you to financially support me when I am old, either would I financially support your whole life. My responsibility as a supporter ends when you are grown up. After that, you decide whether you want to travel in a public transport or in your limousine, whether rich or poor.
7. You honor your words, but don't expect others to be so. You can be good to people, but don't expect people to be good to you. If you don't understand this, you would end up with unnecessary troubles.
8. I have bought lotteries for umpteen years, but I never strike any prize. That shows if you want to be rich, you have to work hard! There is no free lunch!
9. No matter how much time I have with you, let's treasure the time we have together. We do not know if we would meet again in our next life.
Your Dad

When the world was full of darkness and oppression
He worshiped his One Lord in seclusion
Away from all idols, away from all deity
In Cave Hira' he was chosen…..for you and me
As he propagated the Message True,
Not many believed him but a few
He faced torture, persecution and agony
Yet he endured it….for you and me
They mocked him, they cursed him, a madman they called him,
With money they even tried to buy him,
They threw on him intestines and garbage so filthy,
But, he patiently persisted…..for you and me
A heart full of hope, he turned to another place,
Maybe they will believe in him; his was a familiar face
But they stoned him, and pelted him with debris
At Ta'if, he bled…..for you and me
Such atrocity! The Heavens shook, the Earth cried
He could have easily had them destroyed
Yet he forgave them. If he didn’t, we wouldn’t be
For they were the ancestors…..for you and me.
In the Night of Israa, his Lord honored him,
Up to the Seven Heavens He called him
When the Order came for Prayers Fifty
Ya Rabb, five. He pleaded…..for you and me
For thirteen years he spread Islaam
Teaching them the basics of Imaan
Yet they didn’t understand; their hearts were empty
So to Madina he migrated ….for you and me.
They tried to stop him, but his Message was unstoppable
They tried to suppress him, but the Truth was inevitable
He brought to the world, peace and equality
He spread the Light….for you and me
He was truthful, upright, kind and compassionate
He was humble, noble, brave and so gallant
Kindness was his message even to his enemy
Such was his teaching….for you and me.
He was Allaah’s Beloved, his sins were forgiven,
But he worshiped all night till his feet were swollen,
Not for his own self concerned was he
He prayed all night….for you and me
It was his Ummah that was the cause of his worry
His eyes would turn red, his beard so teary
Our Hereafter was his anxiety
He shed his tears…..for you and me
He came to perfect good manners, his was the perfect example
Quran was his character, so noble was his sample
He was sent to all creation as a mercy
He is the Best….for you and me.
If we follow his Sunnah, uphold his Way
We will succeed surely on that Day
No more tiredness, no more thirsty
He will wait at Kauther….for you and me.
When all other Prophets will turn away
Ummati, Ummati is what he will say
“Forgive them, Ya Allah!”, will be his plea
He will intercede….for you and me.
And now they try, as they tried once before
To defame and slander him, but one thing’s for sure
They will NEVER, EVER succeed, for undoubtedly
He is the highest with the Almighty.
Look at what he did for you, look how much he loved you
The big question is: what are YOU going to do?
STAND UP AND DEFEND HIM, YA UMMATI!
The time is NOW….. for you and me.
But don’t lose perspective, in a moment of passion
Remember to behave in an Islamic fashion
Don’t respond to evil with violence and cruelty
That’s what he said…..to you and me.

6 PRINCIPLES OF LIFE
1. No point using limited life to chase unlimited money.
2. No point earning so much money you cannot live to spend it.
3. Money is not yours until you spend it.
4. When you are young, you use your health to chase your wealth; when you are old, you use your wealth to buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.
5. How happy a man is, is not how much he has but how little he needs
6. No point working so hard to provide for the people you have no time to spend with.
Remember this -- We come to this world with nothing, we leave this world with nothing!
Forgiveness is the final form of love

EATING FRUIT
This is informative!
We all think eating fruit means just buying fruit, cutting it up and popping it into our mouths.
It's not that easy. It's important to know how and when to eat fruit.
What's the correct way to eat fruit?
IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUIT AFTER A MEAL!
FRUIT SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.
Eating fruit like that plays a major role in detoxifying your system,
supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities..
FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread, then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it's prevented from doing so. In the meantime, the whole meal rots and ferments, and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach, and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.
Eat your fruit on an empty stomach, or before your meal!
You've heard people complain: Every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats,
when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc. This will not happen if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.
Fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas. Hence, you bloat!
Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes
all of these will NOT happen if you eat fruit on an empty stomach.
There's no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruit becomes alkaline in our body,
according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter.
If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruit, you have the Secret of
Beauty, Longevity, Health, Energy, Happiness and normal weight.
When you need to drink fruit juice drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans.
Don't drink juice that has been heated. Don't eat cooked fruit; you don't get the nutrients at all.
You get only the taste. Cooking destroys all of the vitamins.
Eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.
If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly,
because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.
You can go on a 3-day fruit-fast to cleanse your body.
Eat fruit and drink fruit juice for just 3 days, and you will be surprised when your friends say how radiant you look!
KIWI: Tiny but mighty, and a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange!
AN APPLE a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C, thereby helping to lower the risk of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.
STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.
2 - 4 ORANGES oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones, and reduce the risk of colon cancer.
WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. Also a key source of lycopene, the cancer-fighting oxidant. Also found in watermelon: Vitamin C & Potassium.
GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene, good for your eyes.
Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer!
Can u believe this? For those who like to drink cold water, this applies to you.
It's nice to have a cold drink after a meal, however, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you've just consumed, which slows digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE
Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart attack while they're asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Be careful, and be aware.. The more we know, the better our chance to survive.

Why Pig Fat is not mentioned but code(s) are printed??
PIG FAT By Dr. M. Amjad Khan
In nearly all the western countries including Europe, the PRIMARY choice for meat is PIG. There are a lot of farms in these countries to breed this animal. In France alone, Pig Farms account for more than 42,000.
PIGS have the highest quantity of FAT in their body than any other animal. But Europeans and Americans try to avoid fats.
Thus, where does the FAT from these PIGS go? All pigs are cut in slaughter houses under the control of the department of food and it was the headache of the department of food to dispose of the fat removed from these pigs.
Formally, it was burnt (about 60 years ago). Then they thought of utilizing it. First, they experimented it in the making of SOAPS and it worked.
Then, a full network was formed and this FAT was chemically Processed, Packed and Marketed, while the other manufacturing companies bought it. In the meantime, all European States made it a rule that every Food, Medical and Personal Hygiene product should have the ingredients listed on its cover. so, this ingredient was listed as PIG FAT.
Those who are living in Europe for the past 40 years know about this. But, these products came under a ban by the ISLAMIC COUNTRIES at that time, which resulted in a trade deficit.
Going back in time, if you are somehow related to South East Asia, you might know about the provoking factors of the 1857 CIVIL WAR. At that time, Rifle Bullets were made in Europe and transported to the sub-continent through the Sea.It took months to reach there and the gun powder in it was ruined due to the exposure to sea.
Then, they got the idea of coating the Bullets with fat, which was PIG FAT.. The fat layer had to be scratched by teeth before using them. When the word spread, the soldiers, mostly Muslim and some Vegetarians, refused to fight.Which eventually lead to the Civil War.
The Europeans recognized these facts, and instead of writing PIG FAT, they started writing ANIMAL FAT.All those living in Europe since 1970's know this fact. When the companies were asked by authorities from the MUSLIM COUNTRIES, what animal fat is it, they were told it was COW and SHEEP Fat. Here again a question raised, if it was COW or SHEEP Fat, still it is HARAAM to MUSLIMS, as these animal were not SLAUGHTERED as per the ISLAMIC LAW. Thus, they were again banned.
Now, these multinational companies were again facing a severe drought of money as 75% of their income comes from selling their goods to Muslim Countries, and these earn BILLIONS OF DOLLARS of Profit from their exports to the MUSLIM WORLD.
Finally they decided to start a coding language, so that only their Departments of Food Administration should know what they are using, and the common man is left lurking in the dark. Thus, they started E-CODES. These E- INGREDIENTS are present in a majority of products of multinational firms including, but not limited to -
TOOTH PASTE,
SHAVING CREAM
CHEWING GUM,
CHOCOLATE,
SWEETS,
BISCUITS,
CORN FLAKES, TOFFEES,
CANNED FOODS,
FRUIT TINS,
Some medication Multi-vitamins
Since these goods are being used in all MUSLIM Countries indiscrimately, our society is facing problems like shamelessness, rudeness and sexual promiscuity.
So, I request all MUSLIMS or non pork eaters to check the ingredients of the ITEMS of daily use and match it with the following list of E-CODES. If any of the ingredients listed below is found, try to avoid it, as it has got PIG FAT;
E100, E110, E120, E 140, E141, E153, E210, E213, E214, E216, E234,
E252,E270, E280, E325, E326, E327, E334, E335, E336, E337, E422, E430,
E431, E432, E433, E434, E435, E436, E440, E470, E471, E472, E473,
E474, E475,E476, E477, E478, E481, E482, E483, E491, E492, E493, E494,
E495, E542,E570, E572, E631, E635, E904.

So, I request all MUSLIMS or non pork eaters to check the ingredients of the ITEMS of daily use and match it with the following list of E-CODES. If any of the ingredients listed below is found, try to avoid it, as it has got PIG FAT;
E100, E110, E120, E 140, E141, E153, E210, E213, E214, E216, E234,
E252,E270, E280, E325, E326, E327, E334, E335, E336, E337, E422, E430,
E431, E432, E433, E434, E435, E436, E440, E470, E471, E472, E473,
E474, E475,E476, E477, E478, E481, E482, E483, E491, E492, E493, E494,

PANADOL
My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital
is planning to set up a database of its patients and he knows some of
the doctors quite well. The doctors used to tell him that whenever they
have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL / PARACETAMOL.
In fact, they will turn Herbal Medicine or find other alternatives. This
is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor, Panadol will remain in the body for at least 5 years.
And according to the doctor, there was an air-hostess who consumed lots of Panadol as she needed to stand all the time and work under lots of pressure. She's now in her early 30's, and she is undergoing kidney cleaning (DIALYSIS) every month.
Whenever we have a headache, that's because it is due to the electron / Ion imbalance in the brain.
Some alternative solution to cope with this matter is
Drink lots of water.
Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it brings the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.
As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would
be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). We all will
fall ill as we age.
Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial
amount of Panadol (Pain Killer), when you need to have a surgery or
operation, you will need a much more amount of general anaesthesia.
If you have a very high intake of Panadol throughout your life
(Migraine, Menstrual cramps ) it is very likely that normal general
anesthetics will have no effects on you as your body is pumped / full with
Panadol and your body is so used to pain killer that you would need a
much stronger pain killer, Morphine????
The thought is scary enough to turn me to Herbal Medicine or other
healthier alternative. Value your health, value your life, THINK TWICE
before you easily pop that familiar pill into your mouth again.

A lady in a faded grey dress and her husband, dressed in a home-spun suit
walked in timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University
President's outer office. The secretary could tell in a moment that such
backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't
even deserve to be in Harvard.
"We want to see the President Eliot "the man said softly.
"He'll be busy all day "the secretary snapped.
"We'll wait" the lady replied.
For hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally
become discouraged and go away. They didn't and the secretary grew
frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president..
"Maybe if you see them for a few minutes, they'll leave" she said to him.
The President Eliot, stern faced and with dignity, strutted toward the
couple.
The lady told him "We had a son who attended Harvard for one year. He
loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was
accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to
him, somewhere on campus."
The president wasn't touched....He was shocked. "Madam "he said, gruffly,
" we can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died.
If we did, this place would look like a cemetery."
"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly" We don't want to erect a statue. We
thought we would like to give a building to Harvard."
The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and
homespun suit, and then exclaimed, "A building! Do you have any earthly
idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million
dollars in the physical buildings here at Harvard."
For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. Maybe he
could get rid of them now. The lady turned to her husband and said
quietly, "Is that all it costs to start a university ? Why don't we just
start our own?"
Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and
bewilderment. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away,
travelling to Palo Alto, California where they established the University
that bears their name: -Stanford University, a memorial to a son that
Harvard no longer cared about.
Most of the time we judge people by their outer appearance, which can be

Allah listens to our prayers.
A young man had been to Wednesday Night Class of Quranic Studies.
The Muslim (Scholar) had shared about listening to Allah and obeying
Allah through intuition.
The young man couldn't help but wonder, 'Does Allah still speak to
people through intuition?'
After Lessons, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and
they discussed the message.. Several different ones talked about how
Allah had led them in different ways and that at the end you'll know it
was Allah
(SWT) Who has directed you.
It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home.
Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, 'Allah...If you still speak
to people, speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey.'
As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest
thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk. He shook his head and said
out loud, 'Allah is that you?' He didn't get a reply and started on
toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk came into
his head. 'Okay, Allah, in case that is you, I will buy the milk.' It
didn't seem like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the
milk. He stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home.
As he passed Seventh Street , he again felt the urge, 'Turn Down that
street.' This is crazy he thought, and drove on past the intersection.
Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street . At the next
intersection, he turned back and headed down Seventh. Half jokingly, he
said out loud, 'Okay, Allah, I will.'
He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like he should stop. He
pulled over to the curb and looked around. He was in a semi-commercial
area of town.. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of
neighborhoods either. The businesses were closed and most of the houses
looked dark like the people were already in bed.
Again, he sensed something, 'Go and give the milk to the people in the
house across the street.' The young man looked at the house. It was
dark and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already asleep.
He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat. 'Allah,
this is insane. Those people are asleep and if I wake them up, they are
going to be mad and I will look stupid.' Again, he felt like he should
go and give the milk.
Finally, he opened the door, 'Okay Allah (SWT), if this is you, I will
go to the door and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look
like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will
count for something, but if they don't answer right away, I am out of here.'
He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise
inside. A man's voice yelled out, 'Who is it? What do you want?' Then
the door opened before the young man could get away.
The man was standing there in his jeans and T-shirt. He looked like he
just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn't
seem too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep.
'What is it?'
The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, 'Here, I brought this to you.'
The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway. Then from down the
hall came a woman carrying the milk toward the kitchen. The man was
following her holding a baby. The baby was crying. The man had tears
streaming down his face. The man began speaking and half crying, 'We were just praying.
We had some big bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn't
have any milk for our baby. I was just praying and asking Allah (SWT)
to show me how to get some milk.'
His wife in the kitchen yelled out, 'I ask him to send an Angel with
some milk. Are you an Angel?'
The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he
had on him and put in the man's hand. He turned and walked back toward
his car and the tears were streaming down his face.
He knew that Allah (SWT) still answers prayers.

Summary - Islamic conquest of Persia
The Islamic conquest of Persia (633–656) led to the end of the Sassanid Empire and the eventual decline of the Zoroastrian religion in Persia. However, the achievements of the previous Persian civilizations were not lost, but were to a great extent absorbed by the new Islamic polity. Most Muslim historians have long offered the idea that Persia, on the verge of the Arab invasion, was a society in decline and decay and thus it embraced the invading Arab armies with open arms. This view is not widely accepted however. Some authors have for example used mostly Arab sources to illustrate that "contrary to the claims , Iranians in fact fought long and hard against the invading Arabs."[1] This view further more holds that once politically conquered, the Persians began engaging in a culture war of resistance and succeeded in forcing their own ways on the victorious Arabs.[2][3]
As Bernard Lewis has quoted[4]
"These events have been variously seen in Iran: by some as a blessing, the advent of the true faith, the end of the age of ignorance and heathenism; by others as a humiliating national defeat, the conquest and subjugation of the country by foreign invaders. Both perceptions are of course valid, depending on one's angle of vision."

Persia Before the Conquest
Since the 1st century BC, the border between the Roman (later Byzantine) and Parthian (later Sassanid dynastic) empires had been the Euphrates river. The border was constantly contested. Most battles, and thus most fortifications, were concentrated in the hilly regions of the north, as the vast Arabian or Syrian Desert (Roman Arabia) separated the rival empires in the south. The only dangers expected from the south were occasional raids by nomadic Arab tribesmen. Both empires therefore allied themselves with small, semi-independent Arab principalities, which served as buffer states and protected Byzantium and Persia from Bedouin attacks. The Byzantine clients were the Ghassanids; the Persian clients were the Lakhmids. The Ghassanids and Lakhmids feuded constantly — which kept them occupied, but did not greatly affect the Byzantines or Persians. In the 6th and 7th centuries, various factors destroyed the balance of power that had held for so many centuries.
Balance Between Persia and Byzantium Swings Wildly
See also: Fall of Sassanid dynasty The Persian ruler Khusrau II (Parviz) defeated a dangerous rebellion within his own empire (the Bahram Chobin's rebellion). He afterwards turned his energies outwards, upon the traditional Byzantine enemies in the Roman-Persian Wars. For a few years, he succeeded gloriously. From 612 to 622, he extended the Persian borders almost to the same extent that they were under the Achaemenid dynasty (550–330 BC), capturing cities of Antioch, Damascus, Alexandria, and Jerusalem. The Byzantines regrouped and pushed back in 622 under Heraclius. Khusrau was defeated at the Battle of Nineveh in 627, and the Byzantines recaptured all of Syria and penetrated far into the Persian provinces of Mesopotamia. In 629, Khusrau's son agreed to peace, and the border between the two empires was once again the same as it was in 602.
Assassination of Khusrau II and a Succession of Weak Rulers
Khusrau II was assassinated in 628 and as a result, there were numerous claimants to the throne; from 628 to 632 there were ten kings and queens of Persia. The last, Yazdegerd III, was a grandson of Khusrau II and was said to be a mere child. However, no date of birth is known.
Revolt of the Arab Client States

Eastern Hemisphere in 600 AD, showing the Sassanid Persian Empire before the Arab conquest.
The Byzantine clients, the Arab Ghassanids, converted to the Monophysite form of Christianity, which was regarded as heretical by the established Byzantine Orthodox Church. The Byzantines attempted to suppress the heresy, alienating the Ghassanids and sparking rebellions on their desert frontiers. The Lakhmids also revolted against the Persian king Khusrau II. Al-Noman III (son of Al-Monder IV), the first Christian Lakhmid king, was deposed and killed by Khusrau II, because of his attempt to throw off the Persian tutelage. After Khusrau's assassination, the Persian Empire fractured and the Lakhmids were effectively semi-independent. It is tenable that weakening the Lakhmids and the Ghassanids bulwark contributed to the consequent Arab-Muslim breakthrough into what is today known as Iraq and Bahrain.
During Muhammad's Life
After the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah in 628, Muslim histories re-count that Muhammad sent many letters to the princes, kings and chiefs of the various tribes and kingdoms of the time inviting them to convert to Islam. These letters were carried by ambassadors to Iran, Byzantium, Ethiopia, Egypt, Yemen, and Hira (Jordan) on the same day. [5] This assertion has been cast into scrutiny by some modern historians of Islam--notably Grimme and Caetani.[6] Particularly in dispute is the assertion that Khosrau II received a letter from Muhammad, as the Sassanid court ceremony was notoriously intricate, and it is unlikely that a letter from what at the time was a minor regional power would have reached the hands of the Shahanshah.[7]
With regards to Iran, Muslim histories further re-count that at the beginning of the seventh year of migration, Muhammad appointed one of his officers, Abdullah Huzafah Sahmi Qarashi, to carry his letter to Khosrau II inviting him to Islam:
"In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful. From Muhammad, the Messenger of God, to the great Kisra of Iran. Peace be upon him, who seeks truth and expresses belief in God and in His Prophet and testifies that there is no god but God and that He has no partner, and who believes that Muhammad is His servant and Prophet. Under the Command of God, I invite you to Him. He has sent me for the guidance of all people so that I may warn them all of His wrath and may present the unbelievers with an ultimatum. Embrace Islam so that you may remain safe. And if you refuse to accept Islam, you will be responsible for the sins of the Magi."[8]
There are differing accounts of the reaction of Khosrau II. Nearly all assert that he destroyed the letter in anger; the variations concentrate on the extent and detail of his response.
Rise of the Islamic Empire
By the time of Muhammad's death in 632, most of what is now considered Arabia was united under the new religion of Islam. However, as Fred Donner argues in his 1981 book, The Early Islamic Conquests, Arabic-speaking nomads or villagers roamed over or settled on the edge of the Syrian steppe as well. Any regime that aimed to unite all Arabs would have to conquer the Syrian steppe. Under Muhammad's successor Abu Bakr, the first caliph, the Muslims first re-established their control over Arabia (the Ridda Wars) and then launched campaigns against the remaining Arabs of Syria and Palestine. However, this put the nascent Islamic empire on a collision course with the Byzantine and Sassanid empires, which had been disputing these territories for centuries. The wars soon became a matter of conquest, rather than mere consolidation of the Arab tribes.
Islamic Conquest of Persian Mesopotamia
The collapse of the Sassanid polity after the death of Khusrau II left the Persians in a weak position vis-a-vis Arab invaders. At first the Muslims merely attempted to consolidate their rule over the fringes of the desert and the Lakhmid Arabs. The border town of Hira fell to the Muslims in 633. The Sassanids had reorganized under a new king, Yazdegerd III. The main military commander of the Muslims, Khalid ibn al-Walid, was able to conquer most of Mesopotamia (Iraq) from the Persians in a span of nine months, from April 633 until January 634, after a series of battles. The following are some of the most significant battles fought between the Muslim Arabs and the Persians in Mesopotamia.
Battle of Walaja

The Battle of Walaja was a battle fought in Mesopotamia (Iraq) on May 633 between the Muslim Arabs under Khalid ibn al-Walid against the Persian Empire and its Arab allies. The strength of the Persian army at the battle was 10,000–50,000 compared to 18,000 for the Arabs. Khalid decisively defeated the Persian forces using a variation of the double envelopment tactical manoeuvre, similar to the manoeuvre Hannibal used to defeat the Roman forces at the Battle of Cannae, though Khalid developed his version independently.
Battle of Firaz

Khalid defeated the combined forces of the Persian Empire, Byzantine Empire and Christian Arabs at the Battle of Firaz. The result of the battle was a decisive victory for Khalid, which led to most of Mesopotamia being annexed by the Muslims. After this victory, Khalid left Mesopotamia to lead another campaign at Syria against the Roman Empire, after which Mithna ibn Haris took command in Mesopotamia.
Battle of the Bridge

The Sassanids mounted a counterattack under Bahman Jadu, who led 9,000 Persians against 10,000 Arabs. The Persians won a major victory at the Battle of the Bridge against the Muslims in October 634, in which Abu Ubaid was killed in battle. The Persians lost 600 men, and the Arabs more than 4,000. After a decisive Muslim victory against the Romans in Syria at the Battle of Yarmuk in 636, the second caliph, Umar, was able to transfer forces to the east and resume the offensive against the Sassanids.
The Battle of al-Qādisiyyah
Main article: Battle of al-Qādisiyyah
This was the decisive engagement that sealed the fate of the Sassanid empire. Around the year 636, Rostam Farrokhzād, advisor and general for Yazdegerd III (r. 632–51) led an army said to number 60,000 men across the Euphrates River to al-Qādisiyyah, near the present-day city of Hilla in Iraq. Some have criticised him for this decision to face the Arabs on their own ground — on the fringes of the desert — and surmised that the Persians could have held their own if they had stayed on the opposite bank of the Euphrates. The Caliph Umar dispatched 36,000 men under the command of Sa`d ibn Abī Waqqās against the Persian army. The Battle of al-Qādisiyyah followed, with the Persians prevailing at first, but on the third day of fighting, the Muslims gained the upper hand. The Persian general Rostam Farrokhzād was caught and beheaded. According to some sources, the Persian losses were 20,000, and the Arabs lost 8,500 men. Following the Battle, the Arab Muslim armies pushed forward toward the Persian capital of Ctesiphon (also called Madā'in in Arabic), which was quickly evacuated by Yazdgird after a brief siege. After seizing the city, they continued their drive eastwards, following Yazdgird and his remaining troops. Within a short space of time, the Arab armies defeated a major Sāsānian counter-attack in the Battle of Jalūlā', as well as other engagements at Qasr-e Shirin, and Masabadhan. By the mid-7th Century, the Arabs controlled all of Mesopotamia, including the area that is now the Iranian province of Khuzestan.
Conquest of the Iranian Plateau
It is said that the caliph Umar did not wish to send his troops through the Zagros mountains and onto the Iranian plateau. One tradition has it that he wished for a "wall of fire" to keep the Arabs and Persians apart. Later commentators explain this as a common-sense precaution against over-extension of his forces. The Arabs had only recently conquered large territories that still had to be garrisoned and administered.

Umar's generals and warriors pushed for further action. They argued that Yazdegerd III could again become a threat if he were left undisturbed while raising more troops. The continued existence of the Persian government was an incitement to revolt in the conquered territories. Finally, those Arabs who felt slighted in the distribution of land and booty from the Mesopotamian conquests pushed for further raids. Umar relented. Arab raiding parties passed over the Zagros mountains separating Mesopotamia and the Iranian plateau. Yazdegerd, the Sassanid king, made yet another effort to regroup and defeat the invaders. By 641 he had raised a new force, which took a stand at Nihavand, some forty miles south of Hamadan in modern Iran. Al-Nu'man ibn Muqarrin al-Muzani and his cavalry attacked and again defeated the Persian forces. Muslims recognized it as the Victory of victories (Fath alfotuh).
End of the Sassanids
Yazdegerd was unable to raise another army and became a hunted fugitive. He fled from one district to another until a local miller killed him for his purse at Merv in 651.[9] The Islamic forces established a garrison town at Merv. By 656, they had already conquered Greater Khorasan (which included the cities Merv and Balkh, with the center or capital being the city of Herat). For many decades to come, this was the easternmost limit of complete Muslim rule.
Occupation
Under Umar and his immediate successors, the Arab conquerors attempted to maintain their political and cultural cohesion despite the attractions of the civilizations they had conquered. The Arabs were to settle in the garrison towns rather than on scattered estates. They were not to marry non-Arabs, or learn their language, or read their literature. The new non-Muslim subjects, or dhimmi, were to pay a special tax, the jizya or poll tax, which was calculated per individual at varying rates for men, women and children as determined by Muslim rules but paid collectively by the whole community. In addition, the so-called protected People-of-the-Book were subject to various restrictions of occupation, worship, and dress[10]
Mass conversions were neither desired nor allowed, at least in the first few centuries of Arab rule[11][12]. Later such restrictions disappeared. Muhammad, the Islamic prophet, had made it clear that the "People of the Book", Jews and Christians, were to be tolerated so long as they submitted to Muslim rule. It was at first unclear as to whether or not the Sassanid state religion, Zoroastrianism, was entitled to the same tolerance and some Arab commanders destroyed Zoroastrian shrines and prohibited Zoroastrian worship while others were more accepting. Before the conquest, the Persians had been mainly Zoroastrian; there were also large and thriving Christian and Jewish communities, along with smaller numbers of Buddhists and other groups. However, there was a slow but steady movement of the population toward Islam. The nobility and city-dwellers were the first to convert, most likely to preserve the economic and social status and advantages[original research?]; Islam spread more slowly among the peasantry and the dihqans, or landed gentry. By the late 10th century, the majority of Persians had become Muslim, at least nominally. Most Persian Muslims were Sunni Muslims. Though Iran is known today as a stronghold of the Shi'a Muslim faith, it did not become so until much later around the 15th century. The Iranian Muslims projected many of their own Persian moral and ethical values that predates Islam into the religion, while recognizing Islam as their religion and the prophet's son in law, Ali as an enduring symbol of justice. According to Bernard Lewis:
"[Arab Muslims conquests] have been variously seen in Iran: by some as a blessing, the advent of the true faith, the end of the age of ignorance and heathenism; by others as a humiliating national defeat, the conquest and subjugation of the country by foreign invaders. Both perceptions are of course valid, depending on one's angle of vision… Iran was indeed Islamized, but it was not Arabized. Persians remained Persians. And after an interval of silence, Iran reemerged as a separate, different and distinctive element within Islam, eventually adding a new element even to Islam itself. Culturally, politically, and most remarkable of all even religiously, the Iranian contribution to this new Islamic civilization is of immense importance. The work of Iranians can be seen in every field of cultural endeavor, including Arabic poetry, to which poets of Iranian origin composing their poems in Arabic made a very significant contribution. In a sense, Iranian Islam is a second advent of Islam itself, a new Islam sometimes referred to as Islam-i Ajam. It was this Persian Islam, rather than the original Arab Islam, that was brought to new areas and new peoples: to the Turks, first in Central Asia and then in the Middle East in the country which came to be called Turkey, and of course to India. The Ottoman Turks brought a form of Iranian civilization to the walls of Vienna…"[4]
According to Tarikh-i Bukhara "The residents of Bukhara became Muslims. But they renounced [Islam] each time the Arabs turned back. Qutayba b. Muslim made them Muslim three times, [but] they renounced [Islam] again and became nonbelievers. The fourth time, Qutayba waged war, seized the city, and established Islam after considerable strife….They espoused Islam overtly but practiced idolatry in secret." During the reign of the Ummayad dynasty, the Arab conquerors imposed Arabic as the primary language of the subject peoples throughout their empire, displacing their indigenous languages. However, Middle Persian proved to be much more enduring. Most of the structure and vocabulary survived, evolving into the modern Persian language. However, Persian did incorporate a certain amount of Arabic vocabulary, especially as pertains to religion, as well as switching from the Pahlavi Aramaic alphabet to a modified version of the Arabic alphabet.[13]
