The Lion and the Beasts

In the book of Kalila and Damna a story is told of a lion who held all the beasts of the neighborhood in subjection, and was in the habit of making constant raids upon them, to take and kill such of them as he required for his daily food. At last the beasts took counsel together, and agreed to deliver up one of their company every day, to satisfy the lion's hunger, if he, on his part, would cease to annoy them by his continual forays. The lion was at first unwilling to trust to their promise, remarking that he always preferred to rely on his own exertions; but the beasts succeeded in persuading him that he would do
well to trust Providence and their word. To illustrate the thesis that human exertions are vain, they related a story of a man who got Solomon to transport him to Hindustan to escape the angel of death, but was smitten by the angel the moment he got there. Having carried their point, the beasts continued for some time to perform their engagement. One day it came to the turn of the hare to be delivered up as a victim to the lion; but he requested the others to let him practice a stratagem. They scoffed at him, asking how such silly beast as he could pretend to outwit the lion. The hare assured them that wisdom was of God, and God might choose weak things to confound the strong. At last they consented to let him try his luck. He took his way slowly to the lion, and found him sorely enraged. In excuse for his tardy arrival he represented that he and another hare had set out together to appear before the lion, but a strange lion had seized the second hare, and carried it off in spite of his remonstrances. On hearing this, the lion was exceeding
wroth, and commanded the hare to show him the foe who had trespassed on his
preserves. Pretending to be afraid, the hare got the lion to take him upon his back, and directed him to a well. On looking down the well, the lion saw in the water the reflection of himself and of the hare on his back; and thinking that he saw his foe with the stolen hare, he plunged in to attack him, and was drowned, while the hare sprang off his back and escaped.

PROMISE YOURSELF

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear; and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

Pakistan imports Chinese rocket launchers

Pakistan is in the process of purchasing A-100 multi-rocket launch systems from China. According to a Pakistani military industry source, the contract was signed last year with the arms export company, China Precision Machinery Import-Export Corporation.

The initial procurement is a battalion-level system primarily for testing purposes. According to the needs of the Pakistani military, additional imports are also likely.

This is the first time for China to export the A-100 MLRS to a foreign country. South Asian military industry analysts believe that Pakistan’s procurement of the A-100 is in response to India’s acquisition of the Russian Smerch, or Tornado, MLRS. Both the Smerch and the A-100 are 300-mm calibre rocket launch systems.

In 2001, India signed a contract with Russia to purchase US$450 million worth of Smerch MLRS, which made their first appearance at India’s 2008 National Day military parade. A source from the Chinese military industry claims that the Smerch’s maximum range is 90 kilometers, while the A-100 can fire its latest submunitions as far as 120 kilometers. After being fitted with a simplified strike correction system, the A-100’s strike accuracy is increased to 33 percent.

The Pakistani military is considering a possible transfer of production site for the A-100 out of China. However, at the current stage, Pakistan will continue to import the system, according to the military industry source.

Some international analysts are of the opinion that the A-100 and the AR-2 300-mm MLRS produced by Chinese manufacturer Norinco are both imitation versions of the Russian Smerch MLRS. But the manufacturers of the A-100 and the AR-2 insist that these three types of MLRS are completely different. Neither the A-100 nor the AR-2 can fire Smerch rocket munitions, nor do they use the same propellant rocket motors or components.

Pak Army and Tommorrows Challenges

Pak Army is very much ready to face the upcoming challenges and is molding its training, equipment, techniques ad tactics...all...Everything that Pakistan Army is undergoing these days is in conformity with the situations it is facing and all new efforts are in hand to do the utmost.......Uniform is part of our body and soul and we know how to pay for it and keep it up...

My opinion... what is required is...

Honesty,Sincerity,Nationalism,Right policies,Good leadership,Education,Poverty Alleviation, General Awareness etc are a few of the weak areas which needs particular attention and each and every individual needs to think deeply on these aspects and try their best in their capacities or in their spheres of influence.
To make a nation great requires sacrifice and sincere efforts..

Never lose heart....

Its never too late.....

There should be a spark in your mind heart and soul.....

The terrorism Pakistan is facing today is just one sort of a test...

Every new day is a different and great day

InshaAllah Very soon you will find a drastic change in entire situation

I know the spirit of all my colleagues fighting there in the on going war aginst terror.

pakistan's army and national stability

Pak army.....No doubt stands for.....only PAKISTAN

It is all about the defence of this Paradise and Pure land...Pakistan

It is not only the stability....Its everything that Army plays its role in...

Pak Army exists for Pakistan....

Pakistan Army Zindabad....Pakistan Paindabad

What you have given to our country so far?

My life.....and my Time.........

Truly as it deserves......

And will be ready to sacrifice... If it demands so....

Situation- Pak-India

War is not so imminent in recent days specially with India

Both are nuclear Powers no one would or probably should take such a risk...to wage a war.......

It would be foolish of course.....

Anyways practically speaking...Pakistan is well prepared for any conflict or war as Pakistan has took part in War against terrorism for so long...Its all physically mentally and potentially fully ready....that's for sure.......
